Ellou, I was away hoping things will calm down and I won’t have to write any opinions, but it’s too late now.
But first - http://picasaweb.google.com/andrea.reach - my new photo album, I’ll see what I’ll do about the one on Flickr.
I got my hands on some good music again. Thanks to Dixy I’m listening to Babyshamles and Morrissey, and there’s also Something Corporate, an Emo band I guess. I’ve been thinking about emo, and came to the conclusion that much more people would like it, if Emo-kids weren’t so bloody annoying. However, I am not surrounded by them, so they don’t get to annoy me, and i can enjoy the music without looking at them
And now, Lebanon. I try, i really do, to understand Israel’s actions… but the truth is, they are showing off their power by destroying a country. I know all about Hezbollah, bad bad radicals, killing Israelis. And than in a fit of logic, Israelis are attacking the killers of civilians by …. killing the civilians. Where did i last encounter such logic? where o where…. Oh yeees, when Muslims were proving to be a peaceful nation by killing innocent people. It proves to me one thing, all killers are alike. Muslim, Jew, Nazi, Communist, Democrat… they are all the same. They find a great excuse, and start a genocide. - HEY You can’t compare what nazis did to what jews are doing now! - Watch me. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization hiding behind innocent and/or idiotic civilians. Jews (and i’m using “Jews” cause “Israelis” is such a crappy word) are killing those civilians, hoping to achieve what? When all civilians from Lebanon are dead Hezbollah will have no one to hide behind. Wuhu! CHILDREN people! You are killing CHILDREN!!! And in case you’re wondering THIS is a child:

And I really tried. This is not an “all jews must die” rant. This is an “all wars must stop” rant. I know some Israelis, they are great people, i love talking to them, they aren’t responsible for what’s going on. But someone is. And that someone should spend the rest of his very long life thinking of all the children whose lives he took. What they could have grown up to be. How much they would have loved, smiled, the games they would have played, hugs they would have given, happiness they would have spread. If I was from Lebanon, and lucid, i would stop showing the world pictures of dead children’s bodies, i would show them pictures of what those bodies looked like when they were alive and smiling.
There was a way to bring down Hezbollah without killing so many people. I’m sure of it. All this… is just someone showing off. This is not an accident. How many members of Hezbollah did they kill for each civilian that died? I’m guessing none. Prove me wrong. And than make me think it’s worth it.

Bush is planning to attack Iran, to make Teheran do something.
And NASA is planning to plunge a … thing into the moon and make part of it explode.
We really think we are Gods don’t we?
Iran is not my favorite country, I don’t like religious states (like my own actually), but there is no justification for attacking them. I don’t know who I’m talking to here. Everyone I know is against the war… and those who aren’t are out of my reach. I feel helpless in face of such stupidity and evil and selfishness.
Blow up the moon to find water so we can go live there… that’s what we’re doing. We destroyed the Earth and now we need to move to another planet and we start by destroying a part of it.
I’m disgusted by humans today.
Can you imagine being 12, living your life, going to school, having a crush on some girl or boy, playing football with your friends or discovering make up… and one day a loud noise wakes you up, and you spend the rest of your life with no leg, no arm and half of your face missing. Why? Well, it’s a complicated political story. But I’m only a kid??? Yes, well, you were in a wrong place at a wrong time. But I was in my house, my house is supposed to be my safe place!
What would you tell a kid like that? Would you explain the whole Teheran – Iran – America situation? Do you think s/he would give a flying fuck? We are worse than animals. I will never understand why people fear the devil and hell, devil is like an innocent child compared to us.

Hee i almost forgot. Dubravka Naumovski, the woman who was fired cause she’s getting a divorce, is given her job back. Pater (Father T. Trstenjak) claimed she was divorcing her husband and leaving the children for another man. But that’s a load of bull. Now, I am happy that the woman will at least get to keep her job since she will be a single mother of two ‘cause her husband is leaving. But I’m not writing this cause I’m such a joyous person, but because I can’t wait to see what sanctions shall befall our Pater. After all, he broke the law. Since he’s a catholic priest he would normally be above any law in this country, but with eyes of the atheistic community on them… (“them” being the invisible little men who are supposed to make sure the law is not broken)
And yet… dare I have such faith in this country?

ah… religion as an enterprise… Dubravka Naumovski is a woman who translates mass (which, btw, is on Croatian TV every Sunday at 11am, khm) into sign language, for the deaf catholics. she’s about to be divorced, and our holy bible-worshiping people called the TV station to complain … and since she is now a sinner… she was fired from her job. which she has done for 4 years now, and apparently did a good job of it too. but now she is a sinner! burn her!! dare i even ask WHY she is divorcing? did anyone ask?
an incredibly smart comment came from one father Tonci Trstenjak, that “if she was not seen on screen, but just her voice was heard, it would be ok”, like… if she translated for the blind??? because blind people only catch the frequency at which female voice can be heard??? -_- i KNOW what he meant, but it would have been so much better if he kept his mouth shut.
I would also like to point out that our “great” “singer”, ustasa, and a man who is the fourth, missing link of the so called holy trinity, Thompson, was also recently divorced, even church allowed him to divorce… and I wonder why they did that, cause his wife didn’t beat him up, didn’t cheat on him and didn’t have another man’s child. And as far as I know those are only reasons for which church allows divorce. And even then, if you are a woman, they will suggest you stay with him and let him beat you, or cheat on you for after all, that is such a small sacrifice compared to a bunch of new catholics you can give birth to.

A few more notes on Gotovina. Screw the war, I’m making him my personal hero. He showed a huge foot into mouth of all his followers. The man who was in French foreign legion… is now the greatest catholic ever
there are a few amazing phenomenas happening here… some people think less of him, like, he is no longer the hero he was, no longer as innocent as he was (we are, btw, supposed to hope he is INNOCENT of killing of serbian civilians… but the fact is, a lot of people hope he will be found inocent in the sence that he did kill them but they deserved it, and this turn of events is making them uncomfortable). Some changed their story from “all serbs should die” to “this is every christian’s duty” (isn’t it every christian’s duty not only to send condolences when someone dies, but also NOT to kill?) and of course the phenomenon of Gotovina himself… did he finally discover god? “I found Jesus in prison” “Yeah? What did he do to end up there?”

Gotovina sent his condolences to Milosevic’s family… how very… Christian of him. Surely there’s someone who sees the perversity of it! How can a man who is supposed to represent all that was good on our side of the war, send his condolences to the family of a man who was supposed to represent everything bad?! But… this is his explanation, and it’s fine by me, but i somehow doubt this is the last we hear of this story: “Concerning the death of Slobodan milosevic, in accordance with Christianity and catholic upbringing, whose spirit is clearly visible in “our father” in which religious people ask of God to “forgive their trespasses as they forgive those who trespass against them” and in the spirit of humanity, I simply referred my condolences to the family whose member died in the cell next to mine. During the war I behaved as a soldier, in accordance to Christian and humane principles towards enemy soldiers and civilians. Those who wish to spread hate and inhumanity today, are the same ones who spread hate and vindictiveness during the war, and they are the reason I’m here today.”
Also, there was news that he signed an obituary of sorts… to say goodbye to his “fellow convict”, but he denied it. So i guess the Serbs signed him there. i believe him. (it’s not cynicism, i really do)

Oh… we hit a new low… i knew, i knew we were a sucky country, but this is something completely new.
kids who go to school could end up in prison for writing bad things about their teachers in a blog. idiots in high positions are saying things like: “content of a blog can be erased if a message is sent to sys-admin, and if it’s more drastic, it can be reported to the police. police will ask sys-admin for the address, get in touch with T-com, get information and can suggest raising a lawsuit.” or: “Teachers don’t mind students expressing their opinions on everything, even about them, but students need to know they can’t endanger human and professional dignity of their teachers”
well! i for one am so happy we fought a war against the repression of communism. cause now in democracy we are truly allowed to speak our mind.
Four legs good, two legs bad!

So milosevic died. You might thinik i’d be happy.. but i’m not. It’s not cause I like him, (because i don’t) it isn’t even that PC crap “a human being died so I feel sorry for him”. No… it’s that as a person who doesn’t believe in heaven and hell, i feel like he got away. Both he and Tudman. Two greedy old men who will never be punished for their crimes. And the irony of it… his idiotic wife and children are blaming ICTY for not letting him go to Moscow for treatment. You know what, I blame them too. They should have let him get all better, than put him back in that chair and find him guilty of everything and sentenced him to 300 years of prison. And in the prison cell, they should have put a big tv screen, with no turn off button, and on it play over and over again the scenes from the war, with speakers full of screams of dying children. Not for one second should they let him forget what he was responsible for. What he mocked each time he stood up in that courtroom and said “I’m not guilty”. And now he’s dead. Trial is over. He’s a martyr, not a killer. There is no justice.
* “P” can stan for a lot of things. In this case, I make it stand for Pain. If you want to add, I don’t care in what language, feel free to do so.
“R” can also stand for many things. Rot is the one i like right now.

Zo. I didn’t want to write much about this whole Muslim business till I figured out something good that will come out of it all. And finally I have it. Our kids will LOVE learning history. OK, WW1, not much fun, WW2, loads of dead people but rather average… and than came the “cartoon wars” and than the “blow-up doll wars”. Like “Star Wars” only with less special effects. Imagine if our wars had cool names like that. eh.
Anyway…
